Nursing Mothers Counsel of Oregon (NMC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the support, promotion and protection of breastfeeding within our community. NMC peer counselors support other mothers in realizing their breastfeeding goals by providing information and non-judgmental encouragement and support, one mother to another. In addition, NMC also promotes and protects breastfeeding by advocating cultural and policy changes that reduce barriers to breastfeeding.
